How this works

What happens after you hit send.

No account, no email, no name required. Here is the whole process, so nothing about it is a surprise.

  1. 01

    You write it

No account, no name. You can add your email if you want the articles and event invites — it's stored separately and never attached to what you wrote.

  2. 02

    One of us reads it

Both founders read every note before anything goes up. Usually within a day.

  3. 03

It gets published, or it doesn't

We don't publish notes describing methods of self-harm, or anything that identifies someone. Everything else goes up.

    Human decision, never automatic
  4. 04

    Someone else finds it

It joins the wall for that month, and stays in the archive after.

Before you write anything

The answers you'd want shouldn't be buried.

Who reads my note?
The two of us. Nobody else, and no software deciding for us.
Is it actually anonymous?
Yes. Notes carry no name and no account. If you give us your email for the newsletter, it lives in a separate list and is never linked to a note.
What if I'm struggling right now?
A note isn't help. Call or text 988, or text HOME to 741741 — that's a real person, right now.
What do you do with my check-ins?
Nothing. They stay on your phone. We never see them.
Are you qualified?
No, and we say so everywhere. We're students who write about this, not clinicians.
How do you pay for this?
School talks and donations. We're a nonprofit under a fiscal sponsor. No ads, ever.
